Ok but why is it so much easier to convince people I know in real life to join upscrolled than it is to convince them to join nostr? Is it just too overwhelming for people to choose which client to use? That was my conclusion, so I changed approach, instead of telling people about nostr and explaining how it works I tell them about yakihonne. But even still it's hard to convince people to download it, at least compared to upscrolled has been, or xiǎohóngshū a year ago, why was it so easy to convince people to download either of those as "alternatives" to tiktok/twitter/meta but nobody is interested in downloading primal or yakihonne. I could understand if people tried the apps and left after two weeks, but people don't even want to try them out. Can't wrap my head around it.
