Last night, just before midnight the government rushed through new hate speech laws that failed to pass previously. The laws were amended to give Jews an exception and protection from the law. That's all it took to get one nation and the LNP to vote in favour of these laws. Sad day for Australia. Australian citizens can now be given 5 years in prison for criticising Israel.
