Some stupid moron sprayed all the roadside blackberry bushes after the fruit was already set. This poisons wildlife that eats the blackberries. Also blackberry seeds are mostly sterile, but the stress of herbicide makes them produce fertile seeds. Which then gets spread by birds. The poison at best only stunts the growth for that year, usually have new leaves a few weeks after being poisoned. Poison increasing fertility means that herbicide resistance is very common. If you spray before flowers develop in spring it will prevent fruit, but it won't actually kill the plants. Goats and fire is more effective than poison, still takes years to actually remove them. If digging them out every single piece of root and every cane must be removed or they just form new plants Luckily for me i have access to blackberries far from the roadside where stupid people can't access and poison them. Tiktok unprompted asking for my location. Obviously I said no, but just thought I'd share, first time it's ever done that, just scrolling watching videos of ice attacking people. I wonder if USA tiktok is even seeing these videos or if they're only being shown to those of us outside USA. Seriously tiktok is a psyop now, the amount of rage baiting on the fyp, the bots and political troll farms. It's infested as bad if not worse than Facebook and Twitter now. I messaged the founder of upscrolled asking him to integrate his platform into the nostr protocol. Said it would be mutually beneficial. Looking at the trending feed upscrolled already seems to have more users than nostr. I don't see any reason why it can't become a nostr client. Same goes for any alternative social media platform, they should all work as nostr clients on top of /beneath the platform

Upscrolled is not bad, it would make a nice nostr client, was expecting it to be just a tiktok clone but its more similar to Facebook/twitter.

Lately whenever I send a text message I get a notification a few minutes later saying RCS not working try again/send sms instead. I don't get why it doesn't just send an SMS automatically if the RCS isn't working. Normal texts without anything attached to them shouldn't even send as RCS. There is absolutely no point, I don't want people to have the option to "react" instead of replying that shit is annoying anyway. I don't need to know if they are typing or seen my message.
