Also allowing spam creates the potential for pedophiles to upload abuse material, which will make node running illegal. There's a huge opportunity here for Muslim tech developers on nostr. Halal social media, no algorithms or advertisements pushing gambling, porn, other sinful stuff. Someone needs to build a nostr client specifically for Muslims with that idea in mind. And the same applies to devout Christians and even secular people who just don't want their minds being constantly poisoned.
