I have been so slack with setting up my node, I just need to buy a new SD card I've had everything else for months now.
But I see the pro spam people on here are talking shit again and the feeling of duty to the network becomes stronger.
Im skeptical of knots, the coretards say it doesn't actually prevent spam, and the way the knots supporters are talking feels dogmatic.
But the coretards, nothing they are saying makes any sense at all.
Like the entire argument for core seems to boil down to "if we allow child porn, spam, memes, animal abuse material etc. on the blockchain that will make it less edgy to share that stuff and people only want to share it because it's against the rules"
I need to do more research into the other alternatives, in my mind, (ignoring this whole argument about spam)the way I see it, client diversity makes the network stronger, if everyone is using knots or core, that potentially becomes a weakness if they put out an update with some bad code or a big that can be exploited.
But I don't really understand it well enough to know if how I feel is correct, so I should really do more research but I'm slack.
