#asknostr Is there a way to schedule posts, here on Nostr, like one would on twitter? If there is, I don't see it. I'm using Primal and Amethyst. Trying to use Nostr more to promote @Adopting Bitcoin Cape Town On twitter I can schedule a bunch of speaker announcements, all at once, and the posts go out, at the right times, while I'm doing other things. Not being able to do it on Nostr makes it tough to use this network as much as I'd like to, for this conference.

Pupusas and Pepperoni Pizza Pockets. A self-produced surf movie. (Because I finally gave up on being included in a proper feature film.)

There are people out there who see hyper-bitcoinization as maxi-echo chamber talk, and instead advocate for a future based around stablecoins. Personally, I can't imagine a more bleak future. Imagine if, in 50 years from now, all we accomplished was to make fiat shitcoins easier to move around...

Today's our last day in Costa Rica. What an awesome place, so glad we stopped here before heading home. image

A senior member of South Africa's third largest (and newest) political party posted his party's new Bitcoin strategy, got a reply from Saylor, and then tentatively accepted an invite to speak at the upcoming @Adopting Bitcoin Cape Town to explain his party's proposed Bitcoin strategy. Merry Christmas, I guess.

The local township primary school, where The Surfer Kids has been recruiting kids from since 2014, now has a new sign above the main entrance. image After mounting the below sign, here's the message we received from the principal: "Miss Williams [our resident Bitcoin Diploma teacher] and your team, please express my words of gratitude to Bitcoin Ekasi and The Surfer Kids for this donation. On behalf of the school, I wish to thank you guys. You took us from a Coca-Cola board to a real school signboard. [Prior to this, at the school entrance, its name was displayed a typical Coca-Cola advertising board.] Thank you very much and we are proud of you. We humble ourselves in front of you and we are looking forward to work with you guys educating us about Bitcoin moving forward. Please arrange to continue sessions with the teachers, one-on-one, in 2025. We're interested in learning how we can use Bitcoin as a school organization. Again, thank you very much. A Merry Christmas and a prosperous new year to you. We are very proud of this signboard." School Principal TM Ndanda Primary School
