The Bitcoin Coalition of Canada is happy to announce that we’ve funded @Julian Figueroa‘s latest film exploring the
bitcoin revolution in Peru!
We are Platinum sponsors.
I also saw many other Canadian Bitcoiners supporting a fellow Canuck on the leaderboard 💪

I just frigged up. I moved 5 years of dormant coins from an old wallet without using coin control 🤦♂️
All those UTXOs into one big 🪣 doh
Can you buy just the cryptosteel tube & stem without all the letters?
Have yourself an Azteco voucher!

I went to a local burrito shop to donate to his pay it forward food wall. He had a high tech looking square terminal.
I asked the owner if he ever thought about accepting Bitcoin for the pay it forward meals.
Then we had a 20 min convo about how he wants to learn more about Bitcoin, he was even aware of @jack leaving Twitter to focus more on Bitcoin.
He said he almost bought at $60k, but he didn't.
He even said it's a shame everyone relates ape jpegs and ftx to Bitcoin, he didn't think the other coins were interesting, Bitcoin seemed like the only one to have a real shot at competing with the banks.
What merchant focused resources can I send this man to help him learn why Bitcoin, and how to easily accept sats for burritos.
What is the best resource to explain to someone the risks of the pension system, and the ponziesque nature of it?
What is the absolutely easiest way for Frankie MacDonald to start using Nostr on his phone, where he is receiving Bitcoin tips to his Lightning wallet?
What’s the most dead simple step by step guide I can give him to help him setup both Nostr and Lightning?
I had an idea for @DETERMINISTIC OPTIMISM 🌞 to make some tamper proof bags with a CAUTION ⚠️ or RADIOACTIVE ☢️ warning.
That way if a would be thief finds your metal backup plate, they may think twice about opening it, giving you more time to move funds after a theft.
Also, they’re fun.

A YouTuber friend of mine with 100k subs is about to quit his job and focus on making content full time.
He’s a closet bitcoiner and he just started accepting BTC sponsorships.
He wants to add something to his studio background that is related to Bitcoin.
Any ideas what he could add?
Does anyone run their household like a startup with a product backlog to keep track of all the different projects and ideas and then sprints to get shot done?
Since Casa and Ledn went to the ETH side, I don’t know where to send friends and family for multisig and borrowing.
What does everyone else do?
A high networth real estate investor friend is not comfortable with putting a lot of money into BTC, he holds about 0.1% in BTC.
However he does want to use BTC as a payment method while traveling for privacy purposes.
He’s asking me if there’s a way he can use a credit card to spend his BTC globally while traveling.
He asked me about this CoinZoom card.
Not sure what it is, but does anyone have a suggestion for this sort of card?

Meeting with a local Bitcoiner who’s got this sick offline POS system.
It generates LNURL invoices, I was able to pay it with my @OpenSecret with no issues.
This is so simple and incredible and since it’s offline there’s a hash code after that you can use to verify the payment was made in the companion app.
Super cool concept.

I finally got around to watching this clip of Foss, Lavish, Larry and @preston
Very good info.
I want to do a podcast again on this topic.
I have questions.
Thankful that @npub1n8vh...8cap and @Tahini’s Ali came by last night to talk Bitcoin with my MP and the Deputy Leader of the Conservative Party of 🇨🇦, Melissa Lantsman and their staff.
I printed off some of @Jeff Booth‘s work, and some of my own as resources, and then after our private meeting I took a coalition of 21 bitcoiners and friends/family to a Gala to hear about Pierre Poilievre’s plans and let the politicians know Bitcoiners show up.
It was a great meeting and there was lots of remarks like “it’s so great to see so much diversity” “it’s so nice to see young people get active.”
Bitcoiners need to get active in local politics to help influence public perception about bitcoin & make our voices heard.
Bitcoin is a grassroots movement.
We may have opted out of politics by voting with our fiat - but the world is changing and we are seeing the erosion of property rights & free speech.
Unless you plan to leave your country, you should consider getting active locally.
It took me about a year for my MP to take me seriously and take my calls.
Show up.

Does Hut8 still mine bitcoin?
If you go to their website, it seems they’ve scrubbed Bitcoin from the site and only talk about High Performance Compute and AI.
Travis Kling told me in a Mario space treats that he thinks friend.tech is better technology than NOSTR.
Wut. Can someone talk to him about this?
