I don’t suppose there are any Bitcoiner RV mechanics near Quebec City who could come see my RV and let me know what sort of repairs I’m looking at, or possibly even do a repair? I was driving back to Ontario from Cape Breton, and 3 days into our journey the wheels came off. Thankfully I was able to wrestle this beast to the side of the highway without any major issues (aside from said wheels coming off.) CAA was useless, but the Quebec Police (Officer Will Carrerra) helped me big time. They got us towed to an RV Garage near Quebec City, but the problem is - everyone is closed on the weekend. I won’t know until Monday what will be required to fix it, or even if they can fix it. I was hoping to get back on the road tomorrow or Monday, but I’m worried I won’t be back on the road until Tuesday or Wednesday at this rate.

It’s the 7th Anniversary of Pokémon Go this week, today is the last day of special bonuses that’s been happening all week. My daughter loved the Pokémon cartoon, we used to measure time in “Pokémon episodes” when she was ~3-5. “How long until we get there?” “2 Pokémon episodes!” We started playing Pokémon Go together when she was 6 or 7, it was a fun activity we did together. The fad cooled off, but every summer we picked it back up during a community event. We did a daddy/daughter trip to Ireland in 2019, and we spent half the time exploring the countryside based on Pokémon Go. We play the game pretty casually, but it’s a fun activity we pick up now and then. My daughter is 13 now, and I’m trying to encourage her more active - summer is here and with the 7 year anniversary event, we both got excited to pick it back up. All week we’ve been getting walks and bike rides in, hatching eggs and trading Pokémon. Yesterday we were playing in a thunderstorm and we got a master ball! I’ve kind of shirked all of my other duties all week in order to prioritize spending time with my daughter while she’s interested in spending time with me. You only get 18 summers with your kids.
