I’m on week 2 of black coffee. 1 of my daily coffees have a little bit of liquid stevia to wein off whole earth stevia packets, which I abused over the last 4 years thinking it was a healthy replacement for sugar or honey. Turns out it has erithrytol which people are saying is unhealthy. image

What would protect a hardware wallet from a solar storm at the level of a carrington event? A simple faraday bag, or something else?

Dr Jack Kruse has been talking a lot on clubhouse over the past 2 years about the power of sunlight for general health. Since last year, I’ve been making an effort to be outside in the sun more, and I stopped using sunscreen and sunglasses about a year or 2 ago as well. (Except when I know I’m going to be out in the sun / water for hours on end, I still use them sparingly.) Also started Tony Hortons new fitness regimen called P4 (Power of 4), on week 6 of that. @HODL turned me to Will Tennyson’s YouTube channel, getting some good tips there as well. Been struggling to get to my protein goal daily, was doing 2 shakes a day to get there…but I had bad gas and bloating - my daughter thought I was on my period. Turns out I was cramming too many chemicals in my face. HODL gave me some good protein tips (just the tips) and after cutting out erithryrol and moving to only 1 high quality shake per day and black coffee a week ago, I’m feeling better. Great kicking & punching workout today, doing it in the sun makes the intensity go way up. Strangely, after 6 weeks of clean eating in a 500 calorie daily deficit and workout out 6 days a week, I haven’t lost any weight. Might be a case of not realizing how much butter and EVOO I’m consuming (I hired my sister to make all of my meals, thanks Bitcoin!) Mindset is already getting MUCH better as I’m trying to get more time in the Sun and consistently exercising, it means less time being angry on Twitter. Still lots to improve, but I’m glad to be back into a “proof of work” phase of my fitness journey rather than the Tim Ferris induced “minimum effective dose” crutch I’ve been using for the last 8 years. That 4-hour BS undid the foundational learning from a year of P90X where I built a healthy habit of doing the work. If you’re interested in joining our Fitcoiners Whoop group, let me or @John Fakhoury know, it’s pretty competitive as we’ve got a couple pickleballers in there.

Before Bitcoin, your elderly family member who didn’t trust the banks would hoard cash and gold. When they died, the family would get access to the deceased prepper’s money. There was no “password” on the money. The Satscard *could* be like that. Normal people who want to save some “cash in the digital mattress” without worrying about seed phrases and passwords could use a satscard. Is there a way to think about this and build bitcoin gold/cash-like products that survives the test of time for the average prepper hoarder? Perhaps a fire/water-resistant cover for the satscard is all we need?

I have a generac whole home backup generator that runs on natural gas. Does anyone else have one of these? Have you thought about ordering a cache of spare parts in case something goes during an emergency and you can’t get parts?

Was hanging out with Ali from Tahinis last night, Frankie Macdonald started randomly texting me about the Twitter rate limit problem - so Ali & I decided to record a message for him with his bitcoin yell. Why were we hanging out? A couple of weeks ago, my 7 year old nephew asked if we could all go out and get shawarmas. Casually I said to my sister “oh I know the guy who owns the Tahinis stores in London, we should go there.” My nephew goes, “you know Ali?” If you’re in El Salvador image

Has anyone created a P2P bitcoin lending app yet, where people like myself could lend money to friends & family where we lockup their BTC as collateral in a multisig, perhaps using DLCs? Couple of friends/family asked me if they could sell some BTC, I told them they could take a loan on their BTC but they don’t want to pay 12% annual. I’d be willing to do it at a lower rate, if it was all automated.

Does anyone on here run a food service business out of their house? Curious if it makes sense to build a 2nd kitchen in the room next to your house or try to to start a ghost kitchen.

Who deserves a $60 coupon to CoinKite’s store? I want to give it to someone who needs it most.

Mutiny wallet is everything I wanted in a lightning wallet for 4 years now. A non-custodial lightning wallet that runs on your phone... The fact that it's privacy focuses is icing on top. The only thing is that I wish I could zap with it on Damus... Can't figure that out.
