Autocorrect on: corrects too many words that don’t need to be corrected. Autocorrect off: too many typos.

A Lexus 300 being considered a comfort ride and a Tesla Model Y a premium ride: what a sham. Tesla is a plastic toy compared to the comfort level of Lexus.

I need to run a relay. Which repo supports pubkey whitelisting easily? Use-case: only my app users will be able to broadcast to it but it should transmit to other relays. #AskNostr

I’ve already discovered my least favorite part while vibe-coding: websocket. I have zero understanding of how it works. I truly hate to see my app working flawlessly in the backend but webpages not loading partly or in full and Claude having no clue how to fix it. And if go back a couple of commits, I will actually lose backend functionality because Claude just piles everything together.

Sometimes, I think it’s totally OK for mainstream religions to exist: one has to manage cattle by any means possible. But I can’t imagine myself participating in any of this superstitious idolatrous madness.

Do we have a Nostr multisig already? That is, the nsec for a particular npub is controlled by other npubs (M of N).

I still write “git push origin master” half the time. And I wasn’t even a dev before, just remembered when I learned to code a bit.

@MOONWARD so far: ✅ Nostr login via nsec.app: allows to log in via nsec.app itself or browsers extensions like Alby. ✅ Non-custodial: no account balances, all orders are funded directly from user wallets (external or via NWC). ✅ Payouts and refunds are done to a LNURL address. Current flow: 1. Advertiser creates an order: writes content, attaches media, defines poster reward and minimum follower requirement, and funds it via Lightning. 2. The order goes to the public order book visible to all posters who qualify (currently only by follower count). 3. A poster accepts the order (under the hood, he pre-signs a kind:1 event). 4. Advertiser either approves (if he likes the poster) or refuses. 4.1. If approved, the note is automatically broadcast to Nostr. When confirmed by at least 3 relays, the poster gets paid to his LNURL, the order is completed. 4.2. If refused, the order goes back to the order book, and this same poster won’t see it again. There you go: a simple p2p advertisement marketplace on Nostr. I have many ideas about how to improve it (whitelisted posters for instant fulfillment, for example). I also need to implement scheduled broadcast because if the advertiser takes forever to approve, then the note will be broadcast too backdated and won’t appear at the top of the feed. Pretty important, actually. With this, it’s good enough for an MVP. Soon.™️

I don’t get it, what’s the point of buying some AI-generated NFT when you can generate one for free yourself?

Today in the Russian news: Soviet soldiers died after encountering an alien UFO, according to a declassified document published on the CIA website, reports Fox News. The document states that Soviet soldiers allegedly shot down a UFO flying over a military base. It is reported that alien humanoids emerged from the wreckage, merged into a single entity, and emitted a bright flash of light, turning all 23 Soviet soldiers, except for two, into stone. "If the KGB dossier is authentic, this is an extremely threatening case. The aliens possess weapons and technologies that surpass all our assumptions. They can defend themselves if attacked," an unnamed CIA representative is quoted as saying in the report. According to estimates by Canadian Weekly World News, the alleged incident occurred between 1989 and 1990 and was first published in 1993. The document states that information obtained by U.S. intelligence included reports of a "low-flying, saucer-shaped spacecraft" over a Soviet unit participating in military exercises. Officials wrote that "for unknown reasons," the soldiers launched a surface-to-air missile at the unidentified aircraft, causing it to crash near the military base. The report describes how "five short humanoids with 'large heads and large black eyes'" emerged from the crashed spacecraft and merged into a single "unified entity," emitting a loud buzzing sound. It is reported that the spherical object then emitted a blindingly bright flash of light. Two men reportedly survived the encounter because they were standing in the shadows and were not fully exposed to the flash of light. image

When I was I kid, I was excited about the sci-fi future portrayed in Hollywood movies. Robots, AI, flying cars, holograms, etc. Then I “woke up” to the other side of the coin: total control, surveillance, a possible machine uprising. And now, for some reason, I’m getting excited again. On the one hand, childhood dreams are coming true. On the other hand, I have a more mature conscience. I’m ready for the new world.
