Tether’s freeze of a Russian exchange’s wallet forced the exchange to shut down. Many users affected, but I think the exchange is dealing well with refunds (they’ve made enough money to cover the loss, IMO).
As for me, a net positive event that woke me up from the stablecoin spell: no more. Bitcoin only.
How cool will it be if Plati actually succeeds as a business?
Nostriches would be the witnesses of how I started tinkering with AI, then fully immersing myself in vibe-coding, then (coming soon) launching the MVP, getting users, hiring or partnering with technical and marketing people, growing it. All in real time, every step broadcast, so that it can be looked up in the future.
Or, like most businesses, it can go the other way and end up as another item in my “mistakes are experience, bro, you’re on a journey” bucket.
Now that AI is here, it’ll actually be easier to explain to my kids why they shouldn’t trust everything they see on a screen. As a matter of fact, it may be better to train them to treat everything as fiction unless proven otherwise.
Looks like I’ve reached a point where the app’s core features (needed for an MVP) work well but further features just take longer to develop and normally break everything.
I guess this is where I lock it down, deploy and demonstrate to friends and some users.
#PlatiDev
The biggest mistake that I constantly make when vibe-coding is giving too much scope per prompt.
I really need to narrow it down to specific functions, but I’m lazy and believe the AI agent is sentient enough to understand what I want.
