Sometimes you want a LOBBY on your OPEN rooms to choose who to let in, Sometimes you want a PRIVATE room where only WHITELISTED npubs can join. You can pick whichever works best for you :)

Stumble upon a locked room? If LOBBY is ON, you can always request access so the owner can let you in!

Best thing about ROOM LOCK is that you can ENABLE THE LOBBY to allow for guests on the outside to request access to join.

Once inside a room, you can stay inside after the owner chooses to lock it. Perfect for online classes, when everyone arrived, the owner can simply LOCK.

Starting today Hivetalk has different ways to make your rooms PRIVATE! Starting today you can invite normies to any PERMANENT OPEN ROOM, and as the room owner, LOCK IT WHENEVER YOU'RE ALL THERE :) Login with NOSTR in order to make a Permanent Room, either private or public!
