Recently someone asked about using a consistent link for a room. I wanted to share the answer for everyone. Here is my recommendation for a static room. Upon entering a room first set a lobby and bookmark the room. Then set the moderator controls to how you would like them. I would recommend checking the FAQs on the main page. If you are not logging in with a Nostr account make sure your device remembers how you logged in. If anything on your device gets erased or you change browsers you will not be able to get moderator functions on that room again. During your meeting if at any point you are to lose internet connection and have to re-enter, recheck your settings as some of them might return to default without a moderator. At the end of your meeting eject the participants manually on their icons. Flushing a room function is in the settings however it currently doesn't work with all browsers. After the room is empty disable the lobby and lock the room with a password. When revisiting the room disable the lock and reenable the lobby. By following these instructions this will give you a fully owned static room. Feel free to reach out with any other questions #hivetalk
