it's bluefin tuna season in Taiwan 🤤 the waters are warmer in taiwan fishing waters so the tuna aren't carrying as much fat (and also smaller) when they get caught, but still delicious. the daily catch is auctioned off and processed each day at fish markets around the island, the largest in Pingtung County (dongkang) akami (赤身) is the back portion of tuna 18,000 sats/kg. having these two pieces delivered to my door, making sushi tomorrow 🤤
