Day 32 sober in the history books. Onto 33.
Been a little too laissez faire on the sugar coming into Christmas next month and of course will give myself some leeway with the family. But before that, may as well do a 21 day detox. Always feel better on zero sugar. But it’s hard. I’m an addict, despite working out and playing sport my whole life.
Get through today. 1 by 1.
Day 33 / 365 sober.
Day 1 / 21 zero junk food.

Day 31 sober in the bag. Onto 32. Shaping up to be a great month of training.
Day 30 booze free done. Onto 31.
Day 29 in the bag.
Paraphrasing, but listening to Dakota Meyer on Jocko podcast, below is sage advice :
Take inventory on habits. Is this serving me or not. Is it getting me closer to my goals or not. Assess your habits. Change if needed. Examples : staying up late. Drinking.
First rowing session post months of running. Humbled.

Day 28 done. 4 weeks / 52 in the bag.
Day 27. Nearly 4 weeks completely sober and training the house down. Sleeping like a log. Recovery through the roof.
Day 26
Day 25 sober. Rolling through to 4 weeks.
Pay attention to the compounding effect of good habits as well as bad habits.
I do a good job for you, you tell your friends, I get more work.
I’m respectful to you, you introduce me to people. Opportunities arise.
Likewise fitness, food choices, etc.
And vice versa. It’s a great way to live life - to prioritise good habits. I bounce out of bed every morning at 05:20 and am grateful to be alive and healthy. I think being off social media (ex Nostr) has really helped. A good habit.
A recent habit I introduced at the start of November was to do 50 push-ups every day. Quickly became 70+, then 100+. 21 days in I’m at 2288. That’s nearly 40 k annualised.
Small habits, big results.
Remove the imaginary ceiling above your head.
Nearly as good as mother’s milk.

Day 24 sober. Nothing stops this train!
Day 23 sober.

Day 22 sober. Not a sniff nor a thimbleful.
What is in motion will stay in motion unless exerted upon by an external force.
And I’m not taking on board any external negativity.
Day 21 sober. 3 weeks of 52 done.
Recovery fuel post 800s

Day 20 sober. Today will be 800s on the treadmill. True love/hate relationship.
Day 19 sober. Time for a morning run.
