Sometimes they do synchronized hopping, and it’s very entertaining to me. #dogstr
Craving pasta tonight, but I also wanted something a bit more substantial. So I made a basic oil-based pasta with garlic and chilies, and added some pan-seared tenderloin to round it out. 🥩 #foodstr image
I bought some quail eggs for the dogs yesterday, so I stole a few from them 😜 I fried the eggs and sautéed some beef with garlic and pepper, then piled everything onto my homemade tortillas from this morning with a generous sprinkle of feta. Gonna shove this in and head to the gym. Oh btw—has anyone tried HYROX? Do you like it? From what I understand, it’s kind of a mix between CrossFit and running? I’m not a big CrossFit person, but HYROX looks kinda fun. #foodstr #asknostr image
A friendly reminder: If you’re still crying over your onions, you probably forgot to sharpen your knife. A dull knife squishes the onion instead of slicing it, which releases more of the stuff that makes your eyes water. 🥹 image
Every time Bruce Buffer says “It’ssssssss time!!!” I get goosebumps.
GM 🌞 Not every loaf turns out the way I imagine. I aimed for a nice marbled white and blue, but the marbling didn’t really happen and the blue isn’t quite the shade I hoped for. The shaping could be better too — some big bubbles ended up a bit too close to the crust. It still tastes great! Nice thin, crispy crust, super chewy, and delicious. Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday! 🤗 #sourdough #foodstr image
Braised beef noodles — extra comforting with those slow-cooked turnips and carrots 🍜 #foodstr image
Boat noodles (ก๋วยเตี๋ยวเรือ – Kuai Tiao Ruea) are a beloved Thai dish famous for their rich, dark, and boldly flavored broth. But why are they called boat noodles? 🛶 Back in the day, most Thai people traveled by boat through neighborhood canals, so noodle vendors sold their dishes right from small rowing boats. Because of the limited space, they had to serve smaller portions — easy to prepare, hand over, and enjoy by the water. Traditionally, each bowl was pre-seasoned with chili flakes, vinegar, and sugar at the bottom, making it flavorful and convenient. That way, both sellers and customers could enjoy perfectly seasoned noodles without the need for extra condiment sets. #siamstr #foodstr image
