I’ve been wrestling with this block of pork belly for about 20 minutes, but finally managed to roll it up for the next step of making chashu pork. It won’t be dinner tonight since it needs resting time in the fridge, but now I’m stuck on the big question—what should I have it with? Dragonfruit is in season right now—everywhere and so cheap! They’re not exactly my favorite, but I couldn’t ignore them. So I sliced them into fun shapes and added some mint and rosemary to make them a bit more appetizing. #foodstr image
Not the prettiest thing to look at, but meal prep really makes raw feeding easier. I mixed up ground beef, mackerel, ground chicken, duck gizzards, beef heart, pork loin, beef liver, and pork kidney, then portioned and froze it. Having the base ready means I can just add a few toppings later.
