Freshly baked chocolate chip and raisin sourdough bread is out of the oven, and coffee is brewing. The whole house smells amazing. Orchids are blooming too, making everything feel extra nice this morning.

Beef massaman. Slow-cooked beef shank until it’s tender and melts like butter, rich with coconut milk, and soft, warm potatoes in every bite. Used a pre-made curry paste I got from a lovely gramma. Made some roti to mop it all up, and of course served it with jasmine rice—because we don’t mess with the classics.
