Well, nearly 5 and a half years later my shitcoin journey comes to an end. After a lot of hucking and shilling, cheers Pomp, I signed up to a shitcoin casino in 2020, bought the shitcoins, bought the utility token 🤮, got the cryptoback card and earned the yield, I actually have the T-shirt, hat and coat to prove it……. Crazy times watching everything go up and the stack grow, to a point in 2021 when valuations were offensive and yes, that was when I started to dabble in NFTs, 🤦‍♂️. On the plus side I was able to bank some losses with tax on them…… When you see behind the curtain and realise everything else is just a centralised database, only the house wins. Anyway, finally realised the folly of my ways, Canadian 🇨🇦 truckers made me realise those assets on an exchange are not mine, and yield is a mugs game, eth protocol change and my own research woke me up (slap in the face) that everything else is actually bullshit, and so, I’ve finally dumped everything but kept onto what I’d staked 🤮, to keep getting “rewards” (with the associated tax headache 🤕 ) Finally, unstaked and “cashing” (read btcing) out, a fraction of what it might have been worth in btc terms in 2021, but hopefully saved an offensive tax bill, but the joys of working out a cost basis on the 💩 will be all sorts of fun, but I’ll finally be free of what, at times, felt like an addiction. Calm skies ahead, checking out of shitcoins feels good.

Gm nostriches, while #bitcoin is a very sensitive subject in my house at the moment, was an amazing wtf happened in 1971 moment, that I was itching to say. Fridge freezer died after around 9 years. Mother in law’s fridge was still working when she dead, the fridge was new before 1970, it had been working for 50 fucking years. No way of fixing my old fridge, just off to land fill. When anyone mentions about going green and using less energy consumption, THIS example is where the consumer, inflation mentality hits home. To paraphrase Peter Drucker “there is nothing so unsustainable , as doing something sustainably, that which should not be done at all” Bureaucrats also changed the energy ratings of them, to make us think we’re getting poor energy efficiency, when actually they just want us to buy newer shitty products!!!
