I’ve become a Marco Polo denier. I no longer believe he made it to China.

Just watched Saifedean’s talk on Islamic finance. Left me wondering: Is ecash haram? It’s basically a credit transaction with a future promise for accessing the money.
Is there an open-source and community trusted android app I can use to manage my nsec?
My design style is too much Walter Gropius and not enough Henri Matisse.
The ecash section of the @Bitcoin Design guide is live! Thanks to all the #Cashu and #Fedimint devs who helped out. I got to think through some of the unique nuances of ecash and suggest some design best practices. Check it out and let me know your thoughts:

Current hyper fixation: The Basque conflict.
NEW: Invoice history on Athenut! Some people mentioned losing their searches after paying an invoice, so now we show a record of all your paid and generated invoices. If you’ve paid and didn’t get your search credits, you can refresh the invoice, and the credits should show up.
Also fixed some navbar issues, should be less clunky and cleaner on mobile.
It's been 3 weeks since I quit my day job.
I wake up and work on bitcoin projects.
I am happy.
You spoke, we listened, we shipped.

I think Photoshop is missing something in their counterfeit detection modal warning. Additional context would be helpful!

Here’s a new design idea I’ve been working on for Cashu wallets to simplify multimint payments. Instead of manually entering amounts, users can set percentage allocations for each mint, and the wallet automatically manages future LN payments according to the allocation.
Users first set their target ratios for each mint, and the wallet then performs an initial multimint swap to balance the funds according to the distribution. Going forward, users won't have to enter manual payment amounts every time they make a payment.
From here on traditional LN payment UX takes over. The wallet handles all the payment calculations and adjustments in the background. What do you guys think?
Bitcoin didn’t change me or my values. I wonder about people whose politics, worldviews, and cultural values change after becoming interested in Bitcoin. There must not have been much substance there to begin with.
Say hello to Cashu 95.
