Low status fiat heretic. Often wrong. 2 + 2 = 4
Biden won't run. He's letting Kennedy et al. spend all their resources without damaging whoever he, and the DNC, will ultimately annoint.
Lol, I dont care about politics but had to put this out there so I can congratulate myself later if I'm right 😂

Dear Ledger - native bitcoin multisig = selling more devices ;)
Wait a sec ... so AI is so powerful it could be an existential risk to human life, but not powerful enough to generate new unique iris images to trick the orb?
Yeah okay
🚩 "there's no there, there"
Tried to listen to the new Saylor WBD episode. The man is smart, but wow can he also spew a lot of BS. He's like a chat AI prompting himself from his previous monologue. It just never ends but also kind of sounds the same with a few random historical facts thrown in 😅
I find David Birch infuriating (Bitcoin minimizer), but worthwhile reading. His latest article makes the case for banks to get out of payments, which almost seems like a roundabout for CBDC infrastructure.
He says there can be narrow banks with accounts at the Fed who just focus on payments, although seems unaware of @Caitlin Long and Custodia.
Interestingly, he actually makes a strong argument for separating loans and actual base money accounts, which @allen has been explaining lately.
Worth seeing this all from a fiat-ish fintech guy perspective.

Payments Are A Utility. And Critical Infrastructure.
It is not at all clear that banks are the best way to deliver payments.
🚨 Be aware: Governments are actively compiling lists of citizens based on the websites they visit. They will use this against you, or put the burden of proof on you to explain.

A government effort to collect people’s internet records is moving beyond its test phase, but many details remain hidden from public view.
There's a weed in my garden called Sticky Willie, and the 12 year old in me finds it hilarious.
I find Eliezer's arguments very compelling, but I think I'm in serious denial about it. Really don't want what he says to be true (neither does he obviously since it involves everyone dying).
Russ asks some good questions in this interview, even if it gets quite tense and awkward:

Eliezer Yudkowsky on the Dangers of AI - Econlib
Eliezer Yudkowsky insists that once artificial intelligence becomes smarter than people, everyone on earth will die. Listen as Yudkokwsky speaks ...
**"There are corporate interests working to suppress information about climate change"**
= Yes, of course, we must be good people and donate money and buy "green" products to fight this.
**"There are corporate interests working to exaggerate information about climate **"
= You're a conspiracy theorist climate denier! Lol, you think there is some small group of people pulling the strings, that's not how the world works buddy! Science!
Your bitcoin will be worth a lot more than it is now, and your house a lot less. Plan accordingly.

Coronation day reminder

Turned on the coronation. Bunch of grown adults playing dress-up. The state is truly a spectacle to behold 🤮
Finally got round to watching Con Air for the first time. It's a near perfect movie 👌
This Max Keiser clip I just got sent by Swan is wild. This guy has taken way too many orange pills 😂
Elizabeth Warren worth $12m as of 2019. Interesting to see how she leveraged her political profile to make this as "legitimate" income. A primer on how to be a cantillionaire: https://www.forbes.com/sites/michelatindera/2019/08/20/how-elizabeth-warren-built-a-12-million-fortune/
