Considering changing my petrol car for an old Tesla S. In Norway some of them comes with free super charging their life time. Any thoughts on getting a 10-12 year old Tesla?

Took down all the scaffolding and boards inside the top part of the building today, and built a new scaffold for the next stage. Tomorrow we start the framing for the exterior wall. Also got a good view of one of the joints on top. Looks pretty solid!

Beam is done. The case was that the house was extended 1m some time ago, and the support for the beam that supports the roof is not perfect. My father stopped by today and suggested this diagonal structure, instead of having a beam, centered under the roof support beam, I made this solution. Only the top part will be visible inside the room, and more floor space is created. The diagonal beam is 4x4 that I made by doubling two 2x4s. Feels pretty solid. View quoted note →

Real good work today. We put up these diagonal beams, 8 today. All by man power, two on the ground and two on top with ropes. Well coordinated work, we were in a good flow. Tomorrow the will do some cool work, but i will work at home on the house. Lots of problems today, all resolved. To make this structure you do a lot of work in separated stages, and when you put the theory to practice, not all the thinking is perfect. But these guys are real good at meeting problems with a calm mind and deal with it, that's the work. Actually. Pretty happy to get to be a part of it.

Cool old stuff. Forgotten things.

Progress on the boathouse. Yesterday the crew, with the help of a crane mounted 3/5 of the frame. Today we put in place the diagonal bands to stiffen the house. No nails or screws. Just weight, balance and wood.
