Most people are pushovers, no offense to all of you. I love you folks but if you actually believed in what you believed in you would stand by it by any costs. Yes, of course the rational idea/belief is to change your mind when exposed to new information but there’s a fine line to it, it seems. I get this angsty sort of help I’m being held prisoner vibe from a lot of you, screaming Bitcoin only because you fear another monkey will smack you over the head for it. But now that I’m being a loud monkey back, a lot of you who were Bitcoin only are becoming more open to Monero. Of course, I’m not saying it’s cause of me, it probably isn’t but I’m going to keep giving counterpoints, and opposing views until everyone is brave enough to critically think for themselves without fear. But maybe it’s how I’m wired.

I would’ve supported BIP-110 wholeheartedly if it was peer reviewed, and actually introduced a solution to the proposed problem. Unfortunately, it did not do either, which is why I couldn’t support it. Yes, core is corrupt but unfortunately it’s the more sound implementation.

I’m not going anywhere. All the client devs could shadowban me. All the relays can remove my notes. All the media host could shut me down. But I’m not fucking going anywhere, Nostr, and Monero are the last refuges for free humans, and I will fight to keep their true spirits alive. If Nostr fails, I will save up, and invest to fork it. If Monero fails, I will save up, and invest to fork it. I don’t care what I have to do but I will fight for freedom by any means necessary, even if the so called allies want to hold me back.
