Opened my laptop for the first time in a while, and it updated to the latest version of windows then a bunch of terminals opened all at once then the microphone turned on 🙃. Immediately started a virus scan, opened task manager, and killed any process that seemed suspicious, then turned off the mic access. It probably won't do any good but at least I can try.
