Well, finishing up my first trip to Detroit for my oldest son's high school graduation. This city is gross, not sure why people live here. Port Huron was pretty, but still not my cup of tea. I hope he pulls his head from his rectum in time to move to a more fiscally conservative state before they turn him Communist. Either way, he's out of my hands now. image

If anyone is in the San Antonio area looking for a livestock processor, go to Trophy Buck in Lytle or Hometown Meat in Lulling, everyone else like Regal Meat takes 45-60% of your animal, are dirty, or have poor process and mix meats together. Federal regulations have created a monopoly on Meat Processing and run people helping you at home like Renegade Butcher out of that business.

@BITwise 🐳 >>= RIGHTish and anyone sense with solid experience, I have an embassy pro and a little time this evening and Sunday. Should I setup a LN node to host my own LN wallet for or continue to use custodial services for small amounts? I gather I need to open and balance a channel for this, which is probably going to go poor since I lack the time to dedicate to weekly upkeep.

The last 7 pigs of the season just got dropped off at the processor. Joel Slatin is spot on when he says loading pigs can make you question your religion. When people say they've contemplated just shooting the pig and dragging it onto the trailer, they're on point. 🤣 image

Went out to see the pigs, they're heading to freezer camp soon. We're debating cutting off the pork operation. The meat is incredible and our customers really appreciate the quality, but grain is at $5/lb for the packaged meat and processing is the same. Nobody can afford or I'd willing to pay $15/lb for any meat, regardless of how healthy or good it is. What are your thoughts? image
