Normalise following nostriches, not ideologies. I have never been one to avoid following accounts on #nostr just because they have a different stance on a thing. Differences are the spice of life, and we don't need to agree on everything to follow one another and enjoy content. :meow_bongo_keyboard: So if you see me following you, it's because we've had some form of engagement that I enjoyed, or you put out an interesting/funny note, or otherwise. It does not necessarily mean I agree with your takes, but it does mean there's a level of respect for who you are. :MEOWDY: Personally I find the idea of only following those who share my ideologies a bit ridiculous: you are setting up your own echo chamber (but if that's what you want to do, that's okay too!)

Probably way more than 1000x more decentralised than X given the outbox model and unknown number of relays out there. The difference is night and day. It's a reflection of the human condition to prefer to wallow in shit like X rather than adopt censorship-resistant technology. The barrier to entry is almost level nowadays, yet the general populace prefer the centralised sewers of X. I think people just like the drama & negativity there (little do they know there's plenty of it here, too!) View quoted note β†’

Honestly, how many fucking referrals does one need? Feed is being swamped with referralstr links lately. :TheVoices: Maybe I'm missing something.

Hey @Cesar Dias I have two questions about nosotros, behaviour seems to have changed in the past month: 1. It doesn't seem to send to all my outbox relays, just one. For example it never hits my haven relay when posting from nosotros, but other clients do it without issue, I can also republish to those relays--they're definitely up and working. nosotros detects my relay list just fine: image 2. I can't seem to get the @ username search working. For example I need to paste in your id to tag you, typing `@cesar` doesn't return any results. image I'm fairly sure both of these used to work fine, or maybe they worked on the main nosotros.app instance but aren't working on my deployed instance. Have you any ideas about either? Thank you!

So today my daughter picked off all the toppings on the pizza and left the tattered remains for me. Now I find myself eating the microwaved corpse of a pizza at 3AM. #parentstr tingz. πŸ˜ΎπŸ•

Finally deployed my own nosotros.app instance from @Cesar Dias... feelsgoodman. 😻 One thing I've always loved about nosotros is the Deck UI. It's also fairly snappy and seems to run well both on desktop and as a PWA on mobile. Of course, it supports bunker login too! πŸ”₯ Overall it's not as "heavy" as jumble, so it doesn't support some extended features like post preview, custom emoji packs, or relay sets in the main feed. But that's likely why it feels slightly lighter and quicker. Cesar's always been great with taking feedback and Q&A, which is another reason I like nosotros. Feels great to host your own clients, as always I highly recommend it for anyone who is capable of setting it up!

A great take, and it does explain why I feel somewhat out of place here. Generally though, I have a great time, people are mostly friendly and I have made some great connections. While I diverge in my beliefs with many of you, I'm a decentralist at heart and that brings us together. :MEOWDY: View quoted note β†’

Maybe this is asking too much of @Jumble but @Cody I would love a way we could have trust filters PER FEED. For example, if I have a relay group, I could set this one WoT. Then for my own relay, I could set it off. etc. This way, depending on our relay sources, we have varying levels of trust filters that can persist. Currently I find myself toggling it based on which feed I'm viewing. I can understand if this makes the interface too complex though. In my mind I guess there'd be an option to check for this capability, otherwise by default it just applies to all feeds.

I'm one of those nosey fuckers that just loves to lurk and read the drama threads. And boy, there's a few bangers tonight on nostr. :fire: :meow_wave_peak:
