Hey @Cesar Dias, question on relay management & other issues in nosotros: Does it make use of all my published relay lists (inbound/outbound/search/DM/etc), or just some? 1. Sometimes I notice that if I go into the Relays setting, it gets quite a long list of relays, which aren't what I've published. I reckon it might do this when it's unable to retrieve my list temporarily, or something. 2. Once or twice, it's wiped my list with this long "default" list. But it could maybe have been because I wasn't sure what happened and tried to touch the lists so it published it. 3. I've also noticed that at times the usernames can't render, and it just shows "npub..." addresses instead. I'm not sure if this is down to not using my search relays, or something else. 4. If I use my browser's built-in Translate features, it causes a big Deck crash, and it says my stored data/db needs to be wiped clean. Generally if I wipe it, then clear local storage in my browser, it fixes it. Happy to open issues on github, but wasn't sure which of these are known issues/need tickets, so just wanted your feedback first. 🙏

Question: I keep seeing the recommendations to add only up to 3-4 inbound & outbound relays. Yet I see many users adding 10-20 relays. 🙀 Can someone provide guidance on whether we really should keep it to 3-4 max? Realistically, do those who add 20 relays have further reach? When was someone going to tell me that nostriches.net wasn't working with #nostr NIP-05 validation anymore? 🥹 I think I recall paying for nostriches.net verification waaaay back in the day, I liked that domain. Greetings! Thought I'd drop a fresh post for #introductions as it's been a while. I got into #nostr in 2023, ran a relay even back then. I was on hiatus due to work and life being extremely busy. I've recently returned, upgraded my public #relay, and am happy to be back. Work and life is still very busy, but I want to make more time for nostr. Just really bullish on the developments in the past years. Admittedly I'm not a Bitcoin maxi (anymore), although it's one of my largest bags. I take a more moderate approach to most things in life, these days. Overall, I'm just glad to be here, and help nostr continue to grow by providing my public relay to everyone. I've migrated the superfriends relay plus my filtering proxy over to the new box, maintaining all your data. It is *much* less error-prone now, and service is much faster! I love how I can have columns, one for the feed of the relay I host, one for my normal feed, and more to work with on a more transient basis. Just makes nostr so much more enjoyable and efficient. There's something just... neat... about hosting a #relay and browsing its feed to see what's rolling in on #nostr.
