Quixel megascans provide tons of trees, rocks, grasses and more that increase the overall sharpness and visual scope of the image.

This video gives a brief insight into my workflow and the tools I use. When I develop a design, I start with a rough proportion and surface model of a vehicle that gets more and more precise over time. The staging process in the Unreal Engine is similar. First I assemble parts of a city or landscape, into which I then place the vehicle and arrange the shot.

Sunset mood can be simulated with the Ultra Dynamic Sky plugin for UE5. It is a handy replacement for the built-in sky, cloud and sunlight system. It combines all of them, together with atmospheric fog, into one single actor.

With Big/Medium/Small's highly detailed assets, it is possible to easily create authentic urban street environments. The people models in the Tokyo Back Alleys pack are photorealistic and can add lots of value to an image.

on that day, september 11th, 2020, we went on a teambuilding event from my former fiat job. I utterly despise the nature of these events, as they are supposed to make even better fiat slaves out of us.
to use the valuable time at that intriguing location of gubei water town near beijing, I got up at 5am and painted. my equipment is a wacom intuos graphic board, a macbook and custom brushes in photoshop.

Lumen is good at rendering real-time reflections without ray tracing. Manually optimizing glass effects in Photoshop can make them pop even more. These images are the first batch, there are many more ideas to come in the future.

Building a shot in UE5 with assets from KitBash3D is quite efficient. With all the buildings and props textured and scaled correctly, I was able to focus entirely on lighting, scene composition and framing for this image. After that, adding textures and details from Photobash helps to give the image even more sharpness.
