I just spun up a self-hosted lightning node this week on a DIY Start9. Integrated it with AlbyHub and got everything flowing properly in and out. There were a few bumps along the way, but it works. Have you heard one of these podcaster fairy tales? 1. Fix it in post 2. Guests have great mics 3. You don’t need a sound check Or… Guests will grow your audience. Publishing on Tuesday to grow. Just hire an iTunes podcast promoter. The truth… it’s hard. Focus on the fundamentals.

One thing about having very few connections - it’s much easier to keep up with everyone.

I see this all the time - podcasters focusing on the slight edge and forgetting about the fundamentals. Here’s the hard truth - publishing Tuesday (or any other day) instead of the weekend won’t help grow your audience if the content isn’t great or you are inconsistent with publishing. I know this first-hand. Believe me. Focus on getting the content right and serving your audience before you obsess over things like publishing days.
