Money connects strangers.
That’s something I’m still trying to fully understand.

Thinking out loud about money, value, and Bitcoin. Founder of SMTTS – So Much Things To Say Explaining Bitcoin so anyone can understand.
Most people don’t question money until something goes wrong.
If value is agreement…
what happens when agreement changes?
Why do you think money is so rarely explained clearly in school?
I’m starting to think that clarity about money is more important than strategy.
We don’t just earn money.
We convert our energy into something we hope will hold value.
A lot of frustration people feel about money…
comes from not understanding how it works.
Understanding money changes how you see time .
I want to explain money to a 10 year old.
I need some help in what I should tell them .
Why do we rarely question one of the few things we all use (MONEY )??
Most systems work well… until they don’t.
That’s when people start asking deeper questions.
The more I think about money, the more I realize:
it’s really about trust and coordination.
If money stores value…
what happens when that value slowly disappears over time?
We are taught to work for money…
but not taught what money is.
That gap creates a lot of confusion later.
My mother used to talk about “pardner” —
a group saving system built on trust.
It worked… until it didn’t.
That experience shaped how I think about money today.
Bitcoin didn’t confuse me because it was technical.
It confused me because I couldn’t understand how something digital couldn’t be copied.
That question forced me to rethink money completely.
I’ve been thinking a lot about money recently.
Not in a trading or investing sense…
but in a more basic way.
We use money every day,
but most of us were never really taught what money is.
That question led me into Bitcoin —
not from a technical perspective,
but from trying to understand how value is stored and exchanged.
I’m starting something called SMTTS — So Much Things To Say,
where I’m trying to explain these ideas simply.
Not as an expert —
but as someone thinking through it carefully.
Curious how others here started questioning money.
The real reason many people struggle to understand Bitcoin is simple:
We were never taught how money works in the first place.
Do you want to understand how money really works?
When money loses value quietly over time, something deeper is happening.
Stored effort is being diluted.
And most people never notice.
Do you ever stop to think about that ?
We work today…
so that our effort can help us tomorrow.
Money is simply how we store that effort across time.
