💥Celebrating the Burundian Belyï Nobel as our 20th Most Impactful African Bitcoiner of 2025!
As the founder of BTC Shule, Belyï is a pioneering voice for grassroots Bitcoin adoption in Burundi, proving that adoption can be local, human-first, and transformative. He is forging a real circular economy in Gitega, delivering vital education in Kirundi and French.
In 2025, Belyï's impact was incredible. He led the translation of the Bitcoin White Paper into Kirundi to make it accessible to millions, and ran a Starlink + Solar crowdfund to connect 300 unbanked villagers in Winteko, securing the infrastructure for their new economy. He also scaled his educational reach by publishing Kirundi courses on PlanB Academy.
We’re inspired by how Belyï and the BTC Shule team continue to push forward.
