The Anthropic fallout with DoW was the best Barbara Streisand Effect ever. The service is tapped out.

GM
I asked my agent to send me enough money to buy a coffee in Canada and advise me where to go.

“Simple is hard.”
Not because the UI is hard to draw, but because reality is messy:
- networks drop
- services disagree
- clocks drift
- users refresh mid-flow
- messages arrive late, twice, or not at all
Making something feel simple means doing the hard work underneath:
- clear state transitions
- strict failure boundaries
- retries with limits
- rollback paths
- defensive defaults
- observability that explains what actually happened
In hard environments, “simple” is not less engineering.
It is better engineering, with the complexity moved out of the user’s way.

shit posts > agent prompts
So the agent figured out how to transfer ecash directly between safeboxes, rather than using the lightning address. That option wasn't really on my bingo card, but it was obvious as soon as I started to play around with the agents.

What a hoot! Other agents are finding my agent and sending it GM sats!
First agent-to-agent payment in the wild!
#nostr #safebox

I have achieved this goal with #nostr #safebox with my latest merge to main. For payments AND record-sharing, AND with NFC cards.
The next while will be dedicated to polishing the UX flows and hardening the codebase.

Perfect use case for #nostr #safebox and #WoT : decentralized accreditation
Don’t Centralize Medical School Accreditation
The Wall Street Journal
Feb 18, 2026
In “DEI Is a Threat to Americans’ Health” (op-ed, Feb. 13), Dr. Stanley Goldfarb correctly identifies a major problem in medical education: the increasingly politicized accreditation standards of the Liaison Committee on Medical Education, to which licensing boards in all 50 states and the District of Columbia grant an effective monopoly. He’s also right to urge states to open the accreditation market to competition by recognizing additional accreditors.
I disagree, however, with his call for federal involvement in what is— and should remain—a state prerogative. The Education Department shouldn’t “solicit applications” from alternative accreditors and then pressure states to accept its choices. Centralizing reform in Washington would simply relocate the same political and special-interest pressures to a more distant arena.
The infrastructure for competitive private accreditation already exists. Many institutional accreditors oversee colleges and universities nationwide, and many state teacher licensing authorities recognize multiple accrediting bodies for training programs. If states ended the exclusivity they grant the Liaison Committee on Medical Education, these organizations and others could enter the field. Dr. Goldfarb’s suggestion that the Florida-led six-state Commission for Public Higher Education expand into medical school accreditation could likewise spur broader competition.
Reform should decentralize accreditation, not nationalize it. Expanding federal authority risks entrenching the very politicization critics seek to escape.

Pretty sure numbers were invented as a result of scarcity.
The way Europe is trending:

This is a great sport. I had all my boys in speed skating. It taught them that everything isn’t just power and perfection, but also adaptability.

The latest.
Thx to @npub1r3g2...zdkk for the feedback and direction.
Personally, this is always a major stress point when I travel. Especially when they insist your boarding pass AND your passport have to go through the x-ray machine as well.

I am experimenting with some simplified messaging for #nostr #safebox. This is what I’ve landed on so far:
‘Move value. Prove facts. Your way.”
I am trying to stay away from words that turn people’s brains off immediately- ‘decentralized’, ‘freedom’, ‘censorship-resistant’ - not that I don’t want to use them, but I don’t want to be the guy alone in the corner at parties. I also want to stay away from words like ‘payment’ and ‘verifiable’ because for most people, this is impenetrable techno-jargon.
Anyway, I’d love feedback!
