You’ve been stacking KYC free stats for 8 years. The year is 2030. The median house price in your city /state is currently US$2.8 million due to rampant inflation. You now have enough 🌽 to purchase a home! Have you ACTUALLY thought about how to purchase this home anon??? You won’t be able to get a loan against it or sell it on a CEX or one of these new mainstream BTC lending platforms. They want detailed transaction history plus AI powered chain ⛓️‍💥 surveillance has become elite as fuck. US$2.8 million in cuck buck swaps for BTC over a short time period will raise multiple flags using platforms like Robotsats or Bisq. Fiat transfers to your bank account will be limited to $40 in the year 2030. 2.8 million divided by 40 = 60,000 individual deposits… Are you hoping that someone will accept your Bitcoin for a direct property swap? Are you hoping that a house comes up for sale in the exact location you want to live with a seller willing to accept KYC free Bitcoin? Are you going to spin up 2,400 $1000 Walmart gift cards on Bitrefill and sell them on Craigslist to raise fiat? Are you hoping that Bitcoin will be so widely accepted in the future you won’t have to worry about KYC vs NON-KYC spending and borrowing? What’s the plan anon?

Hand on heart, if the price of Bitcoin stopped going up when denominated in fiat value and stopped beating inflation would you still be here?
Great article! I’ve been involved in a lot of collector communities online and I’ve literally seen people bankrupt themselves to keep up with the Jones. Insane fomo behaviour! #Nostr is potentially a good tool to combat #Fomo but at the end of the day, clients like @primal @Damus @YakiHonne @Amethyst are social media like platforms with all the potential pitfalls that plague legacy social media apps and websites. Hopefully the rich relationships formed on nostr and the lack of algo based attention stealing tactics can be a successful antidote! Thanks for writing ✍️!
