For those looking for metal storage for seeds but don't want to pay the Bitcoin markup. 6" x 6" x 1/8" stainless sheets are readily available. The markup from the usual suspects is in the marking and Bitcoin branding. I did a quick markup on card stock with my 1/4" letter and number stamps as a guide. 1/4 is larger than most sets on the market. Mechanical pencil for scale. image Letters per row. This is generous because of the taper at the end and possible skinny letters. image Vertical wiggle space in the rows. image

There are strict safety laws about things installed on the side of the road. One of them as an example is having a breakaway at ground level. If you learn these laws you can quickly and easily prove the install of many alpr cameras like flock are illegal road safety hazards. An angle to consider if you are looking to get some taken down and haven't yet invested in a sawzall.

The format and contents of the file were unknown to anyone but Luke until after the reveal. The purpose of the hash isn't to keep a secret but to ensure file integrity. A salt serves no purpose in this use case. Consider wisely if this is the guy you want holding such a key role to securing your savings. image

Sooo, miners aren't mining the bip110 fork because it costs too much relative to potential rewards. The big brain solution, new proof of work algorithm that requires a capex for new asics in addition to the opex of electricity. The only viable solutions are RandomX, the Monero CPU bound algorithm, or a hard coded sha256 difficulty drop and crossing your fingers people don't fire up a ton of outdated Bitcoin miners and 51% attack you. The fact that they aren't seriously considering the fact that buying new asics is a barrier doesn't look good at all.
