The number of people piling into my replies defending the use of the US military against US civilians was wildly different on the posts about white people getting killed vs the posts about brown people getting killed. I split things up on purpose. You gave yourself away. Nostr has a racist problem.

In 1970 just 10 days after Kent State, police and national guard shot students at Jackson State College. The school was a mostly black school so the 2 killed and 12 injured received less news coverage than the earlier Kent State shooting.

In the 1968 Orangeburg massacre South Carolina State Police and National Guard opened fire on a group of black students protesting segregation at a bowling alley. 3 were killed and 28 injured.

I deny the premise that homeschooled kids are missing out on valuable socializing. When they are in school they are socializing more with kids who have poorly developed social skills and less with adults who have manners you approve of enough to allow them in your life. If you have never got your kid back after they played with another kid and thought "I'm going to have to fix that", your kids are the ones I'm happy my kids won't be playing with at school.
