"CR" for short. Edited "Kicking the Hornet's Nest" (everything Satoshi wrote publicly in chronological order). Made the Nostr Wiki at https://nostrwiki.vercel.app and Nostr bridges: Nostrdon (with Mastodon) & Hostr (with Hive). Home page: https://crrdlx.vercel.app

Having a local auto mechanic that you truly trust is such a blessing. Or, not having that mechanic reveals what a blessing that would be.

Off grid message via satellite I find this pretty amazing. Talk about moving away from reliance on other people and systems to ensure that things work. Off grid message to satellite back down to earth, received. https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/crrdlx/244ojUzge85Hb3s8VNBjwh7541JNQPSSayX2vvxGAaADp8ruxbK2c4M6EQt8j6aiwf5z9.p... Hive inflation and emissions after HF28 I'm happy to see a reduction in Hive emissions and inflation, if I understand it correctly. It was way too high...you can't just keep spewing money out there into the wild and expect it to keep its value. Sorry, but that's not how it works. I updated the "inflations and emissions" page wit... Bridged via Hostr at This is a long form post, read the full article at

Somehow there's great irony in the fact thatvthe longest U.S. government shutdown ends on the exact day they stop making pennies because they're now valueless. #economics

I was just watching a male cardinal perch on a piece of child's playground climbing equipment. Another male cardinal flew in to bully the first off his perch. And then a third flew in. It's another conclave of cardinals (who don't play well with others).

With the #bitcoin ATH, someone posted something about January 3, 2009. Reminded me of this proverb: "The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now." "The best time to buy bitcoin was January 3, 2009. The second best time is now."

I stopped watching TV shows largely because of the culture signaling that relentlessly is pushed. A co-worker loved "Ted Lasso" so I watched it. Entertaining, loved the idea of changing a work culture, but all the other signaling was off-putting. Got the sense that changing a football team was just a metaphor for changing your world view and values into theirs. Back to no TV.

Got a whole day open to: clean house, mow lawn, garden, watch some football, relax. Going to be a good day.

"Downgraded" from AA- down to an A+...huh? Clearly a different rating system than I'm used to. Is this is finance thing? European thing? French thing? Me confused. :) image

This is a scary idea...AI whips up some code, it knowingly or unknowingly injects malware, the dev vibe-code pushes the commit and BOOM! Talk about a Trojan Horse. That's scary enough, but once the idea of AI injected malware is brought up, it gets scarier. Like when you have an ache in your tummy and you Google or WebMD what it might be...soon, you're thinking you might have the worst form of ulcerous stomach cancer known to man. What if... - AI gets this code into places like Coinbase, below, where finances can get compromised? - What if it worms into email like ILOVEYOU and gets spread normy to normy? - Suppose we get to the point where a malicious AI, an evil AI, decides to write its own code and purposely hide it from human eyes? - What if we get to a digital economy where AI and bots need to earn money or bitcoin to "live", and that evil AI decides hacking up some malware code to pilfer or steal the money is easier than earning it? They always say, "Don't Google your ailment."

Standing in line to get a free Slurpee, but one person is holding everyone up to buy lottery tickets. That is, she is happily eager to pay the "stupidity tax." If you're unfamiliar with the term, look it up. But, it's all good, because (a) that's one tax I'm not paying, and (b) free Slurpee!
