Got up early this morning and did something different. After pouring a cup of coffee, went for a short morning walk. Goals: 1.do something different, 2. try the @RUNSTR app. Was really nice until I decided to take a railroad track pic. Evidently, mosquitoes rise early too. They were brutal! The first image I took came out totally blurry because they were fast and relentless. I kind of like the abstract look of that photo though. Happy accidents.

Never fails...you go to tap something and the instant before touching the screen, an image from above finishes loading, the entire screen scrolls down a bit, and you wind up accidentally tapping some forsaken clickbait link. There must be a word for this, or there should be.

Went to another #art opening show thing. Clever theme: chose a book, lie art inspired by it. Per usual, I the other things, the boss in this case, even more appealing than the actual artworks. image

I'm convinced that a lot of bitcoiners (and cryptoers) considering arguing to be a full recreational sport. We always hear about the echo chamber and the fanbois, and that's fair 'cause that's real, but then, people will argue about any and everything, seemingly for the sheer fun and thrill of arguing.

Kayaking yesterday, these were floating, like tiny lily pads Leaves about 2mm diameter. I thought it was an algae, but apparently it's duckweed. I learned something yesterday. The photo (hard to capture) is very Monet-esque. image

Went kayaking yesterday and was almost directly underneath this fellow before I noticed. I'd say I was #birdwatching but he was doing more people watching.

After attending an art showing, saw this beautiful church and courtyard. Although it seems very cozy, the tables and umbrellas make it seem rather coffee-shoppish (I don't particularly like that). image

Another through-the-window view of when the #art outside is as good as the art inside at the showing. (And the art inside was actually good.) image #photography

Attending an #art showing or opening is fun, but I've found that I'm often just as intrigued by what's outside. Peering out this window seemed like a scene ready to be painted. image #photography

Went to an educational and experimental #farm. You could sack up potatoes and pick sweet peas. Fun.

The Rabbit War of 2025 has commenced. Each summer I engage in rodent wars - chipmunks, squirrels, and rabbits. In the past, chipmunks have been the nemeses. I once started C.H.i.R.P. = Chipmunk Habitat Relocation Program for trapping and moving them. I think 18 chipmunks were relocated, none harmed. Below is a gif showing the traps: it goes it, bait is in the rear, trips the trigger, trapped. This year, it's rabbits. I had two nice tomato plants almost ready to be transplanted into the ground. A rabbit nipped one off, left it on the ground. I started more baby tomato plants. The rabbit nipped half of them off. So, I brought in the milk crate cover. If the problem persists, the next step is the rabbit trap and relocation. Stay tuned. image

#Bitchat sounds like #Reticulum but with less range. Am I missing something here?
