I'm semi-watching some movie from 1968. A street scene just had a guy run past a phone booth. Might be a bit weird, but I miss phone booths. They were fun (and useful to cram into during a sudden rain storm).

So I guess #Ethereum has these choices: - roll back to a prior block and thereby (a) prove the chain is centralized and (b) create yet another ETH fork - don't roll back the chain and (a) fund the most brutal dictatorship on the planet and (b) still sort of prove it's centralized by deciding to not roll back the chain - wash their hands and say, "We're leaving it up to the community", which is still kind of proving they're centralized by allowing the community to decide Am I missing something?

#starlink #spacex Yesterday I saw something I've never seen before. It prompted me to stop my biking to work and take thus photo. I saw a string of maybe 25 bright stars in a perfect line all moving together across the sky. It was the Starlink constellation of satellites. By the time I stopped and got my phone to camera, they all had faded away. But I promise they were there. I was looking to the east about 30 minutes before sunrise. I guess the sun was hitting them just right to light them up. Pretty cool and I'll be looking for them going forward. #starlink #spacex
