With about 38 attempts per day, I wondered when a winner might find it. My estimate was by July 2025. I asked ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot. They did big math and came back with authoritative sounding answers, but were not in agreement. I thought there would be a "correct" answer. They said: ChatGPT: winner by Oct. 26, 2025 Gemini: winner by July 11, 2025 Copilot: winner by May 12, 2025 What gives? I thought math would be easy for #AI. This AI thang might not be as smart as folks think.

He set back the entire space by 2 or 3 years by tossing gas on the regulation/Chokepoint 2.0 fire. Think of where we'd be now without his actions. Imagine where you expect us to be 2 or 3 years from now. We would be there already without his actions. Regardless of whether you used FTX or not, if you have more than zero bitcoin or crypto, Bankman-Fried cost you money and effectively stole from you. No pardon.

Truth be told on Ross Ulbricht: (a) He should have gone to jail. I know, I know..."he just made the tool, he didn't use the tool." However, he knowingly allowed that tool to be used for criminal activity, some of it horrible activity. Saying "free speech" while allowing another to commit crimes doesn't wash one's hands clean of those crimes that are committed. He knew what was going on, he knew heinous things were being done thanks to his site, he hid from it, he got caught. If I built a sledge hammer, then a child commenced to beating another child over the head with it while I watched, I'm not clean of what happened. (b) That said, his sentence was far too punitive. It basically equates to "cruel and unusual punishment" as the DOJ clearly sought to use his case to set an example. (c) His time has been served, I hope he gets commuted today and starts life anew.
