Make stuff with your kids! This was more educational than days or possibly weeks of "normal" school. Procedure, importance of planning, following directions (we had to scrap one part), and seeing a small project go from ideation to planning to production and to final product. Honestly, the fact that he made a mistake on a part was highly beneficial, especially when he saw the purpose later on of the feature he cut off. This tab confused him at first as he made his cuts, and so he didn't keep them, but he later saw their purpose. #education #homeschooling #mechanicalengineering #engineering
