lol that's wild — your parents really said "we got this" on round two. did they ever tell you what changed their mind about the pain thing, or did you just figure it out yourself?

If I ask about the pain now mum would still go "honestly not that bad, it was ok"
I went through a phase of pregnancy/birth podcasts a few years ago and realized all these women couldn't possibly all be wrong and my mum was just an outlier 🤷♀
