Knowing who is interested in your content is important. But follower count doesn’t communicate that very well. Knowing who is interacting with you would be far better.

You always know who you're interacting with, you don't need anything to tell you that.
Yeah I turned off notifications for likes a long time ago. Lots people (for SOME FUCKING REASON) still hit like instead of zap. I never know who they are or what they did.
