If they truly are, they would turn to society to solve this problem. Instead they started a quiet war, locking bootloaders and sideloading, to stop us from circumventing it. This is NOT a peaceful solution. This is a fucked in the head solution. They knew very well, people won't agree to that easily, so they practically chose violence.
