As a dad I want to provide a great childhood for my daughter and spoil her with treats(burger/fries/shake) when she requests it after doing something to really earn it. Instead of hitting up Wendy’s I went to the local joint which partners with a local beef supplier. Aside from that, and real ice cream, the fries are advertised on the menu as hand-cut canola oil fries as if it’s a premium product. I saw this after she ordered and as she ate said fries I took it as an opportunity to educate her about why I don’t like canola oil. I gotta give it to her, she knows what I’m trying to do and after she ate her fill promptly put them where they belong, the compost bin. To add insult to injury the most basic burger/fry/shake meal at this joint cost me $26…madness, gonna go carrot sticks next round 😝
