Went to local farmers market this morning with the family
Magical experience
Excellent musicians busking, local farmers meeting, people purchasing direct from the primary means of production
Fresh and local goods everywhere
Stopped at my favourite egg supplier, met the owner of the farm, he sold me some organic beef
Turns out it was the first day he was able to sell his meat, and it’s taken 2 1/2 years to bring to market
Fascinating
So many decisions made to come to today, to the point of customer actually spends money on their output
This is human action
This is real work
This is an actual marketplace
