Only a business backed by deep-pocketed investors or the state can afford that. In the real world, if you're not doing the work, someone else is picking up the slack; and when they burn out and quit, you'll be kicked out too. At the end of the day, it's these guys who pay for your period leave, and not your boss. But that taboo doesn't bother anyone. 😄
