Hi! We are doing this at @nextblock. Building an attention marketplace. People opt in to see ads. Set a price for their attention. Advertisers set the highest price they are willing to pay. Every time there is a new block on the Bitcoin blockchain we match you up to see an ad. Proof of concept coming soon! May 2025!

How is this not a dystopian future you are trying to build? The choice to sell your attention will be exploited since the suggestive power of dark patterns is asymmetrical to the users' ability to regulate their behaviour in a closed system. Especially when it comes to "smart" people since they have the most bias believing they are shielded from such influence.
