Statistics show that many who become seemingly rich end up losing everything. A prime example is professional athletes who earn millions of dollars, but more than half of them are broke seven years after retirement.
This phenomenon is not limited to athletes. The average American worker earns a total of more than $1.7 million over 50 years of work, but ends up poor at the end of his or her life. Why? Because wages and salaries do not, by themselves, translate into sustainable wealth.
The main problem is a lack of financial literacy and an inability to recognize “hard money.” Instead of teaching people about money and capital, our education system turns people into obedient employees of an unsupported monetary system. The result is that people work their whole lives, but are caught up in inflation and the instability of the national currency.
The solution is clear: if we don’t want to spend our lives running on an endless inflationary treadmill, we must choose a currency that transcends government printing presses and financial corruption. Gold, silver, and especially #Bitcoin, are tools that can provide true financial freedom and security.
