I'VE DELETED FACEBOOK LIKE 7 YEARS AGO WITHOUT LOOKING BACK AND WITHOUT SAYING A WORD OF DELETING, WHEN SOMEONE IS READY YOU JUST SIMPLY PUSH THAT BUTTON. IN XITTER I JUST MAKE SOME TEST TO GET MORE DISSAPOINTED. SO NOW, I'M NOT LOOKING BACK ONCE AGAIN, I MEAN ALREADY DID MYSELF A TEST TO AVOID XITTER FOR ONE YEAR, NOW I'M LOOKING TO AVOID LIKE I DID WITH FACEBOOK. ONE MORE THING BESIDES THE BALLS MAYBE PEOPLE ARE AFRAID OF CHANGES THE UNKNOWN, FEAR. View quoted note →

Man, I deleted FB 3 years back and the only reason I set a new profile back up was so that I could sell things on Marketplace. Even then I still had people try to re-“friend” me, which I just find quite odd. This includes people I might have met once before or those I hardly speak to anymore. I think, without uncertainty, apps like Facebook have dumbed down the meaning of the word ‘friendship’. It’s quite a sad state of affairs. Also, the idea that people think that others want to see pictures of what they ate for dinner last night is also fucking cringe.
