Best way to clean up the accounts I follow ? Following 2k+, pretty sure some are bots or dead accounts. Might improve my timeline flow.

Say hello to @NostrAIDVM
Been thinking of a tool that scans popular relays to see last time any sort of action has been performed by a person’s follow list and elevates those with no activity for a specified amount of time. Thoughts?

That is an interesting idea.

The Nostr follower tool
@pablo probably has a microapp for that but nit sure
That made the process super painless 🙏
What does it do? Not much in the way of instructions but I’m curious about what you’re proposing as a solution
No offense if you unfollow me, nothing important in my timeline
Wasn’t but I will follow you now.
I just unfollow them as they come up in my feed. dead accounts don't post notes so who cares, right?
Ideally. I am having issues with my timeline showing blank, and I figured after I checked relays, cleared cache, then logout, and finally reboot, and the issue isn’t resolved, that my best option is to winnow out my copious over-followed list. I thought it would help #TheNostr if I welcomed and followed every new account I saw. Rethinking that strategy.
